Tonight was the official start of the softball season for us. Tom and I joined a co-ed beer league... yes, beer league- so pretty much all the members are drinking while playing ball. It's a fun bunch of people, and after tonight, our team is clearly not in it to win the biggest trophy! It's about a group of us people getting out there and having a great time :)

I went 2 for 2, and Tom did well...until he sprained his ankle coming back from the restroom. That took him out for the remainder of the game. His ankle is pretty swollen, and if it is not any better by morning, he is going to need it examined.

So I play catcher and Tom plays first. His nickname is "Turtle"... and for some reason I have acquired the name "Mrs. Turtle". It's cute.

Carly and Abby did a phenomenal job watching Isabella while we played...but for the future, we really need a sitter at home!
