So we are attempting to take the paci plunge. OK, daddy is. Mommy is heart broken and Isa is at a loss. Well, that is a little exaggeration. We are officially down to just one solo paci. However, it was a painful road getting here. It all started late last week when Isa was next door. When we got home (from picking Tom up from work), we went to get the kids from our neighbors place. When Tom saw the paci (NOT in Isa's possession), he told Venus, "You have a trash can, right? ...throw it away." Huff. What about my say? Now wait, back up a few hours. I had already agreed to throw one away, so I did and the trash went out to the dumpster. By nightfall Isa was down to only 2 paci's.
Day 2. We head out the door, again. Kids home. Unbeknownst to me, Tom had the THIRD paci in his pants pocket. As we were strolling through the frozen food isle of the grocery store, he decides to huck it on top of the stand up freezer. "BUT!!!!" was about the only thing that my mouth could get out. Shocked? Very.
So we are down to one. Just one.
Right now she is being pretty good about only taking it at night. She fusses in the car ride to school, but that is about all. Thankfully. So maybe this transition won't be too bad. I just have to keep this last paci out of someones *wink wink* hands.

Haha! She will survive this, don't worry! It's probably going to be waaaay harder on you than it will be on Boo.
I tried making Gabby throw them away herself, and that seemed to traumatize her. But you know how our story turned out. In fact, she hasn't asked for the damned thing in more than a week!
