So sometime between January 22, 2010 and February 3, 2010 (based off best guess from the images on the camera), Carly developed a rash from head to toe. Over the span of 3 days it went from bad to worse. By the end of day three, it was time to be seen.
Not being able to be seen by our family physician, I had no choice but to take her into Urgent Care... so off we went.
The final diagnosis was 'viral exanthem'... Yep, the same thing that strikes Isabella from time to time! However, this was the first time I had seen it on a 'bigger kid', so it freaked me out when it got worse, instead of better. So after about an hour in the hospital, we were released and all was well =) Of course Carly was unhappy because since it was viral AND a rash, she was unable to go to school... our little nerd! PS- you can see how nerd'ish she is- she is reading a book from the Twilight series (for the umpteenth time!) while waiting for the doctor!
